We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you use the Services. The personal information we collect depends on your interactions with the app and the features you use.

Screenshots and Images: Images you choose to upload for analysis within the app.
Text Input: Message text you type or paste into the app for analysis.

Sensitive Information. We do not process sensitive personal information.

Application Data

If you use our application, we may also collect the following information if you choose to provide us with access or permission:

Mobile Device Access. We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device's photo library and camera. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device's settings.

Information Automatically Collected

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity but may include device and usage information, such as device characteristics, operating system, app version, and information about how you use our Services. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our application, for troubleshooting, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

Log and Usage Data. Service-related diagnostic, usage, and performance information collected automatically, including crash logs, device model, OS version, and app version.

2. How Do We Process Your Information?

We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. We process your information only when we have a valid legal reason to do so.

To provide our Services: We process screenshots and text you submit to deliver analysis results and suggestions. Data is processed in real time and is not stored on our servers.
To improve our Services: Analytics and crash data help us identify bugs, improve performance, and understand usage patterns.
To manage subscriptions: Purchase data is used to verify your subscription status and grant access to premium features.
To protect our Services: Device attestation is used to ensure that only legitimate app instances access our services.

3. When and With Whom Do We Share Your Personal Information?

We may share information in specific situations with the following service providers:

3.1 Google — Firebase

Services used: Analytics, Crashlytics, App Check, Remote Config.
What is collected: Screen views, app usage events, crash logs, device attestation tokens, and app configuration data.
Why: To understand app usage, diagnose crashes, protect against abuse, and deliver configuration updates.

3.2 RevenueCat

What is collected: Anonymous app user ID, subscription status, and purchase transactions.
Why: To manage in-app subscriptions, verify purchase status, and restore purchases across devices.

3.3 Apple / Google (Platform Providers)

What is collected: Purchase and payment information processed through the App Store or Google Play Store.
Why: To process subscription payments. We do not have access to your payment details (e.g., credit card numbers).

4. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy notice unless otherwise required by law.

Local data: All chat data, analysis results, contact profiles, and images are stored locally on your device. This data is retained until you delete it within the app or uninstall the app.
Analytics and crash data: Retained by Firebase according to Google's standard retention policies (typically 14 months for Analytics, 90 days for Crashlytics).
Purchase data: Retained by RevenueCat for as long as needed to manage your subscription.

5. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process.

Local-first approach: All chat data, analysis results, and contact profiles are stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal data.
No user accounts: Amiora does not require you to create an account or provide an email address, username, or password.
Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between the app and our services is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.

However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information.

6. What Are Your Privacy Rights?

Delete your data: Since all chat data is stored locally on your device, you can delete individual chats within the app or uninstall the app to remove all data.
Opt out of Analytics: You may limit analytics collection through your device's privacy settings.
Control what you share: You choose which screenshots and text to submit for analysis. The app never automatically sends your data without your explicit action.
Permissions: The app requests access to your photo library or camera only when you choose to upload or take a screenshot. You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Amiora is not intended for use by children under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
